Johann Adam Venter was most likely born in Roth,
near Meisenheim, in what is today, the
German state of Rheinland-Pfalz. He married Anna Margaretha Horbach, daughter of Michael
Horbach of Jeckenbach, in Jeckenbach on 27 April, 1734.
