Marriage* circa 1700  The entries in the Odenbach Reformed Church records, as contained on LDS Film #0493330, are very sporadic for the years running roughly from1698 to 1715; there are only a limited number of entries during this time. This is probably due to stressed social conditions existing at that time. The record of Johann Nickol's marriage to Anna Catharina, which probably occurred during this period, has not been found. Name Variation   Maria Margaretha (N.N.), All the birth records that have been found of Anna Margaretha's children give the child's mother's name as "Anna Margaretha". However, "Die Kasualien Der Reformierten Pfarrei Odenbach am Glan 1716 - 1798) gives the mother's name as "Maria Margaretha". There is also a death record of a Maria Margaretha which states that she is the wife of Julius Christian Cöster. This inconsistency will have to be resolved. 
Birth* circa 1709  Anna's age was given as 65 in her burial record at Odenbach, on 9 Jan 1774, placing her date of birth in or before Jan 1709. Her name was given as Maria Margaretha, where as her name is given as Anna Margretha in the birth records of her children. 
Note* 1720  Something seems to be wrong here. Julius Christian was just 17 when he married Maria Margaretha, who was just 14. This, and the confusion of Maria (Anna) Margaretha's name needs to be looked into.
