Information received from Donald Coester of Pittsburgh, PA indicated that Julius Christian's father, Johann Heinrich, was a Reform Minister at the church at Odernheim at the time of Christian's Birth. Research in the Odernheim records uncovered Christian's birth record and that of some of his siblings.

Since Heinrich was the minister at the church and the one making the entry into the records, he chose not to include last names, but simply entered the childs name as the child of "mine and my wife Maria Antonia". Sometimes he even neglecting to put his wife's name.
